Folks, I'm a bit lost. My elderly p38 is having cold revving/idle problems. It's absolutely fine when warm. I'm starting to try to solve it by replacing the IACV fortunately I have one handy. But......where is the damn thing!!

Help please!!

Oh, it's a 4.0 se, it's also playing up on LPG but that's a different matter.

If it is a pre 99 GEMS engine, the IACV is mounted on the side of the Plenum (it is often called the Stepper Motor) from what I can remember!

Indeed it is. Moves back and forth in steps rather than fully rotates. Hence stepper motor. :):)

Than God for that, Finally a problem there isn't Derv related, nothing personal but lately we have had nothing but diesel problems:cool::cool::cool::tea:
