So long as you take care with it its ok just with having to hit mine to separate them didn't help but you can reassemble them with a non metallic poker ie pencil to reseat the needles but be careful with them and you'll be ok

Well it all went a box of chocolates - I pressed out 2 caps fine and they moved quite easily. The next 2 were much more unwilling to move requiring a lot more welly to budge them. One came out but it was only half a cap, the sides of the cap were rusty and broken away, the second one was so stuck/rusted in the yoke that instead of pushing the cap out it pushed the top of the cap off leaving the walls of the cap in situ!

The Cardan joint part had some rollers missing and was looking pretty worn. So, I decided to change the whole prop. That arrived today, I fitted and all problems resolved.

So, thanks for all suggestions - especially to DIFFLOCK66 who was spot on.

Cool - Just need to work out how much to charge for a consultation fee! LOL yeah right :rolleyes: We're all in this together - advice comes free, even if it is the correct advice :cool:
