Ok, I know I have a drinks holder under the stereo but I was wondering is it possible to upgrade the centre console to a more modern one with the two cup holders either side? It's a pain in the arse in the cold weather when i'm ****ing about with the heater and there's two mugs of coffee in the way. It would be so much easier with them on either side of the console and it looks much more pleasing aesthetically ;)

Thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to help and apologise for another newbie question

There is a set of aftermarket cup holders that go either side of the Center consol but I don't think they are cheap, like £50. Similar to this, might be cheaper somewhere else.

Cup Holder Kit Grey - STC53156LPWG | Discovery Series 1, Discovery Series 2, Range Rover Classic | Land Rover, Range Rover | British Parts UK

They aren't aftermarket, they're genuine LR American market (said sounding like a knob)!

Mine are just visible in the photo below. If you are lanky, fit them both on the passenger side to avoid banging your knees on them! :D

Learn something new everyday, should have known they were land rover designed though for the reason you put them both on passenger side :)

Have got them in mine. You can get grey or beige ones, perfect for sticking car park change in, or using as a holder for your smart phone :)
You can tell they were designed for the yank market, the centre comes out to allow super size drinks containers :):):)

That torch is a good idea mate:cool2:

Thank you. Got one on the otherside too although I've binned the old clip and now use two pukka Mag-Lite clips per torch.

Where in Stoke are you? I'm a Potter born and bred. Originally Brown Edge but also done time in Tunstall, Burslem and The Rookery. Moved away in 95. :D

Forgot about the volatile nature of the Potter comment.:eek: I meant Potter as in coming from the Potteries. As a kid I was never really a football lover but if asked I supported The Vale - had one uncle who was a Vale fan (took me to Vale Park 20+ times) and one who was a Stoke fan (took me to the Victoria Ground twice). Great fun in the same room together!!

As an adult, still don't really like footie but if the kids at school ask - it's Up The Vale!

Moved to Nuneaton with my first teaching post, then Leicester, Hinkley and then the sunny south. It's much warmer down here. :):)

Very good reply :D the wrong reply wouldnt of ended well :violent::D
I take it you still come back to stoke now and then?

We have come a long way with torches since I purchased my '4 cell Mag-Lite' some 20 years ago in New York after seeing their police with them.

Now I understand they don't now hit anyone with their torch, they blind them :D
