but pretty basic stuff I'm guessing.Just browsing really, something that'll run 3 or 4 tabs without having a fit so I can moderate and edit lzir map etc.
Other than that email, and run memorymap. Magic moving pictures like iplayer and youtube would be a luxury that I haven't had for ages.
Is 512mb up to the job?
My connection is a dongle if that makes any difference

Don't know, possibly. I was hoping he'd be about this evening because the lzir map needs some work and this things not up to it

Avoid the eeepc 7 inch as they are dogs, I have a eeepc1001ha which is 3 years plus old and had massive use still on original battery, hard drive failed so it has 1 tb drive now

I have just dug out my old xp laptop as my desktop broke. Did a factory reset to wipe the hard disc and am now having trouble getting the service packs and updates as it has ie6 installed on it from the reset and it can't read most websites now. Baws!
