I must admit I use Carlube ATF-U in mine at £25 a gallon. That is very reasonable though provided it stays as it is.

It seems I need some of this pretty urgently now!

I hadn't got round to changing it yet, for a number of reasons (bad back, nowhere to do it, not got fluid yet, etc.)
Dropped the missus at work this morning, changing gear was very lumpy to say the least!
When I went to come home, it wouldn't even go into second.
Made it home across the hills in first. 20 minutes into town, 1 hour 30 minutes home!

How about if I buy it and sell-on what I don't use at cost?

Ok I bought it.
I'll probably need to do 2 changes but if anyone needs some after that they can have it at cost.
If not no worries, will keep it for later.

That was a good price
I change mine every year to keep it fresh although that's probably overkill!!
