Is it a petrol or denzil?

Mine snapped when the release arm seized and the slave cylinder went on my k series.
There were old cracks in the metal but it let go on the C clip.

If the Lube release arm is stiff you need to lube the release arm shaft with plenty of WD40. Once it's free put a few drops of engine oil on the shaft every time you check the oil level.
The bracket can still flex as they are cheap and nasty. I made up a better system for my ZS180 as they suffer the same problem. I used parts from a Honda Civic.

It was a little stiff, I have lubed it up and its quite free now, but the bracket still flexes a little, I think I may as well replace it;

I'm assuming the Land rover one will be thicker metal than a replacement part??

Theres a genuine new one on Ebay for £15 free P+P
