I have a IIA 109 Diesel over here in Ontario and I spent the day yesterday getting it ready for the cooler days. First of all in went a lower rad hose heater, the closest size is 1.5 inch so I had to find a lower rad hose that was 1.5 inch the whole length and chop it up to fit.
Second was to pull off the fixed fan behind the rad and put it away for a few months, I have a electric fan in front of the rad if needed.
Thirdly the Smiths cab heater went back in, I have two 12 volt heater / blowers mounted on the windshield as well.
All went well last night when I went to the Yard to check the Reefer units on the containers & trailers, I use the Landy as its right hand drive and it perfect for doing the checks four times over the weekend.
Its -4c this morning so I am going to plug it in for a hour and see how things go when I leave.
I am also planning a heated battery wrap and a trickle charger as well.
