full black leather as std ?
reason I ive just bought a what I think is cheep 2002 facelift td5 gs auto with history 2 owner with 88k on the clock with a engine fault which I should sort ,
as ive never seen a interior on this model in mint condition , no rips wear or evern scratch marks on the interior?? as most ive seen are cloth?
as my old 51 plate td5 es has my old 2001 td5 es had cream leather as std?

The GS did not have leather as standard - that model had cloth upholstery. However, it could be spec'd as an optional extra. Or it could have been retrospectively fitted by a previous owner - its a straight forward job.

Just checked the brochure now I'm home - and you're right. GS was cloth only, not even optional. Full leather was only offered on the ES.

many thanks on the info guys its not the best picture (cammra threw window ) but I have to say ,if you bought a brand new interior ,that's how good it is inside , not a mark scratch or any wear , maybe it was added , yet if it has someones gone to some right hassle to matching dash,, carperts seats , etc
was very cheep 2 owner 88k full history , has a ladder on rear tailgate ?Im not overly up on these specs but I love the engines (when I find the fault with it)

I wouldn't know im just happy for the price looked on logbook dosent say overly mutch other then model gs 16p engine etc,, 2002 and 7 seats, rear ladder,side steps ..later dash type
Audio remote
CD Multichanger (not looked)
Electric sunroof no manual x2
Isofix child seat anchor points(not looked)
Leather seat trim yes
Parking sensors haven't noticed these??

lol you can read my mind as well tbh bought it from auction with a td5 which sounds more of its running on 4 clyinders with loads of bluey white smoke , im assuming head cracked yet full of water oil and dosent over heat ,but I suppose that depends on were the fault is ,, looked underneath nice and dry no gearbox/transfor box leaks,, will need a couple of tyres, engine sorting, 2 owners I checked mileage came back correct at 88k,,,which I think is pretty reasonable , downside wouldn't have thought this fault would have happerned at the mileage showing tbh
