Hi,
I am looking to get the little blonde lady a 4x4 for the winter up here in the highlands,
Obviously being a Landrover fan I would get a Freelander, but I know these have a few issues!

What would you guys say is the best 4x4 in this size of vehicle, (Defender is too big she struggles with my 90)

I know some wise cracks will come back

What's yer budget? Td4's still a sound bet if the vcu and ird are ok, and the doors are still on. All vehicles have issues to a certain extent anyway, at least with a freelander you'd know what to expect because it's all well documented on here.
