Was changing the bulbs in the bad news display and this droped out of the bottom of the dash!
Any idea what it is?

I believe it is a holder/clip for the air vents I had one fall out from that area when I had my dash out I proceeded and threw it in the spares bin!!!!!!!

No thoughts of refitting it then just throw it in the spares bin?

It it easy to get to, to refit or not worth the hassle?

You will have to remove the cover from under the steering wheel if it's from O/S. Drop glove box if it's from N/S. Usually when they fall off some dick has forced the vent out and broken one of the lugs off they clip to. Pretty straight forward to re fit. If the lug is broken off just put a pan head PK in the end of shaft and it will act as the lug. Bit of grease on it though as the shaft rotates on it.

I did the o rings a few weeks back mabey I disterbed it then when I was trying to get the air pipe out
that said im going back in,in a few weeks to do the blend motor so will have a look at refiting it then

If it is properly fitted it WILL NOT fall off. Way to get air pipe from across back that runs from ducting to side vent. Is to remove that clip disconnect vent feed to under steering wheel, slide vent out and pull the pipe off it's screw. Cut a slot in mounting tab so it slips back over screw and washer. It is then easy to get in and out if you ever need to do it again.

And get some nourishment into that leather,
ahh there fcuked you should see the drivers seat
im looking for some replacments but if im to spend the £150-£200+ that people are asking I want mint and as of yet I havent found any
but im always looking even thinking of a colour change
maby cream!
