got chance of a td5 disco which as been condemded as a fuel pump problem only 2 bar coming out instead of 4
he said he fitted a new pump but still wont run

is it worth buying to try n fix
what cud be the problem

Ecu may need resetting on a soulus or similar! Get it diagnosed then decide !!!

i have my own ethos will that tell me

td5 doesnt have fuel pressure diagnostic, you need to hook up a pressure gauge to the fuel line,

What about a fuel leak at the pressure regulator? Although I guess you'd smell it.

It all depends on price. If you can buy it at less than a grand and if all else is OK then yes, I would buy it.

Remember that you can buy perfectly good TD5 Discos now, running ones I mean, for less than £2000 all day long.
