Anyone know how I go about getting hold of my radio code for my 300tdi disco?

just call em? will they charge? also the backlight of the display has gone, can just about make out what is says, is it possible to change the back light?

They will need proof of ownership so a phone call won't work, also you will need the VIN.
Depending on the head unit u have the bulb is hard wired but it is still possible to be changed.

I found my code on a label on top the of radio when i removed it.

Found mine on a card with other codes on it, didn't say radio code just four numbers hand written, think the other info was alarm info

And I requested my code wasn't activated by the dealer, if you requested it then the number would be put the a card along with the EKA code plus the locking wheel nut ID

If its the phillips unit you'll have to open it up. The bulb is in a little holder. Replacement bulbs are expensive for what they are if you get the proper one, but I took mine into maplins and they matched it up for less than a quid.
