Temp keeps rising to red when going up hills. Don't want to blow head gasket. It's just had new thermostat and water pump and auxiliary belt so unsure on issue. It's a 300tdi discovery

check that rad int blocked and that it also has cooling fins both will cause it to overheat also bleed rad with engine warm and running to get any air out of system.

few fins missing on right of rad and bit on mud on lower part of intercooler and rad. would yet wash be ok to clear mud

It was overheating so changed parts. Mate bled it and no sign of leaks just rise in temp at hills etc. I've washed mud off with hose pipe so will see how it is over next few days.

:nothingtoadd:Still had overheating under load and up hills so replaced radiator today and serviced it so fingers crossed. Took a few bleeding attempts .
