Howdy!

My parents having owned a menagerie of Land Rovers over the years , mostly Discovery's, and having done a fair bit of expedition driving, I've taken the plunge and finally bought my own Land Rover (having previously owned a Fourtrak :behindsofa she's an M-Reg 300TDi Discovery, now shes not perfect... I have yet to see one that is but she is rust free where it matters although the headliners had it and the drivers seat has collapsed but there easy enough...

Ive already replaced the inter-cooler top pipe as it had delaminated, the air filter, and the rear prop-shaft doughnut... oh and tightened up some wheel bearings

Now everything that's on her was added by the previous owner, so some of it will be coming off...

That's about it for now I guess

Ta muchly! Altough you need'nt have worried I know a wee bit about tyres and what sizes will fit with what lift...

Welcome back , i have a 200tdi on an L plate with 194000 on the clock shes off the road at the mo . i took her off at the end of jan because the mot was up and i knew of a couple of things that needed to be done for her to pass. now the weather is warmer its time to fix that spring in the door lock and get underneath to see how much good metal there is in amongst the rust . Enjoy the forum , its really informative and there are some graet folk on it .

Yeah I was hoping to go to Harrogate next weekend to source a headliner to have a play (while the suns out) with so its not so much of an issue if I ruin it... But I've been roped into helpling the family move some furniture instead.

Oh well theres always next time I guess...
