wahts happening is, as your spring relocates, there is a bit of an interferance fit into the spring seat so it takes some force to seat it full, so when it compresses it goes BANG as it slips fully into the spring seatthats what happens with mine anyway!
This is a new noise. I know spring noise. How can you check a frame ball joint for play.
Could be a missing bump stop? I lost one a few weeks back and it makes a heavy sounding bang when the axle hits the chassis!
i fought so, yam has been around for a while.
A frame ball joint, i would get some one to wobble the **** out of it while you look at it from underneath. Or jack up under the axle on one side and see if it has any sideways movement.
Basically try and re create the situation when you heard the noise the first time.
Unless anyone else has a better idea?![]()
You havent got the correct bumpstops,(and one missing) to match your lengthened trailling arms so I would think you get through a prop or two where it over travels on compression and goes over length. It probably hits the rear roll cage supports where its going over length
Havent got any missing. Had a good look under there today. No move movement in ball joint. Wheres the best place to buy the extended ones. Dont get any knocking on front.
