Circumstances dictate our faithful friend for 10 years has to go. Bad times - but can't go into it.

Very solid and 'smart' for g plate.
Alloy ifor top comes with it, but won't be in the pictures as hasn't been used

Everything works
Used mainly for runs to the dump and moving diy materials a couple of times a month.

As said very sad times and i'm sorry I have to be so vague but it would be foolish to divulge any more.

Thanks ruffday, and everyone else who has been constructive, I think ebay is the answer, though I'll sort out a thread in the for sale section on here today too.

Given a pressure washer and a bit more time and I'd of taken some better pictures of the chassis. It was waxoiled before we had it, and underneath the dirt black is still the dominate colour. You can see an example in the picture of the front out rigger.

I hoped it was worth more than a grand, but I'm aware the turbo diesel are not all that desirable...

m8 get on ebay have a look round that will give you rough idea's on price no one will pay good money on here everyone is looking for a bargin and no what ther looking at. Get some good photo's and thro it in ther.

Vague? It's an unmodified (besides snorkel) defender. There are no heated seats or cruise control to list. It doesn't have alloys or anything else that makes it look any different to any other white 110 hi-cap.

What else do you need to know or expect to see?

Pictures will follow tomorrow, but expect to see a white 110 hicap in standard form in a smart condition for age...

it's 23 years old.. who knows what the hell has been done to it or how bad the chassis is. Bloody stupid question.

There are a few on ebay at the moment but there all either a 200/300tdi or td5's

I am after a hi-cap but i want either a 200 or 300 in it. Or if not it would have to be a low enough price to reflect this.

I thought the 19j had problems with cracks or something? something to do with land rover just bolting the turbo on the 2.5NA?

Anyway, take a look on ebay for prices, but really its worth what anyone is willing to pay for it

I got my 300tdi 110 for exactly £2k with a 1 week old MOT. Then I had to spend a grand making it Safe to be driven on the road. Well safer than it was. Chassis is still like swiss cheese. MOT dun't count for ****..
