bless my hippo shes given me a birthday present and dumped her coolant all over the road all the hoses seem dry but but the front of the block by the oil cooler is wet hope it aint guna be to much to sort out

It's waters broke. You'll have another one to fix within a few hours.

What engine is it?

You'll have to have a look at the wet area and try to work where the coolant came from.

its a 2001 td4.guna have a good look n see wot i can see after lunch the top hose dose feel a bit suspect round the end by the block guna have a better look now

is it a auto if so it could be the hose going to the oil cooler which sits on the front of the engin drivers side

its a manuel had a fiddle with hoses last week couldnt find anything and had no leak for a week its bin parked up over weekend and now theres a puddle that wernt there yesterday am having it looked at on wed but talkin to the guy on the phone his exact werds where oh dear thats not good hope its a hose but he suspects headgasket wish me luck for wed

will know for shure tomoro but the way its been with this car it wont be a cheap fix i only had it 9 months and its eaten throu best part of a grand if it is gasket itll have to go as soon as its fixed im afraid its put me off cars for good

found the leak at last was the bit that connects the top hose to the block the funnny shaped o ring had a split in so at least a cheap fix for once
