hi everybody
i need help,my freelander td4 2005 model wont start,she will start if you pull start her or start her with quick start,diagnostic test said low fuel pressure,ive changed the lp pump and filter,she still doesnt want to start,she kicks over but wont start,once started she runs fine,no power loss.

Hi there TD4 owner myself and had this problem. Packed up on the way to the L. Distr. Breakdown guy got it started with a can of 'Lynx' no dampstart available. Just removed the breather pipe and squirted it up it's throat while firing her up. Brill. trouble was, had to do it everytime I stopped the engine. Turned out it was one of the injecters. Runs a treat now. Hope this helps.

my moneys on faulty injector leaking back. leak off test will prove or disprove before you spend money on sensors.

How does one do a leak off test.

tbh, take it to a garage.

if you can't master the search function on this forum, you've little hope of carrying out a leak off test.

You just nip off half way during urination and see if any fluid leaks Ooooooopps, wrong leak off test.
