Hi guys, last week I posted the Engine Disabled AGAIN thread, today I have found the problem and the car is running again sweet as a nut. The window winder regulator mechanism on the drivers door was worn and had began to jump as the window was wound up, this had started a couple of days before the car became disabled and I had put it into the "to fix at a later date" category. Apparently when the window winder starts "clicking" on worn teeth the alarm/immobiliser starts to think that the window is not shut even when the window is shut the motor sends a message to the immobiliser to kick in. I got a new window regulator, fitted it this afternoon and after putting in the EKA code the old girl started. I hope this may help anyone else who was in my predicament and thanks to all the guys who tried to help me with their suggestions especially Mozz Smith.:)

well done camo ,,glad all is resolved ,,,,good to see another fault and resolution post put up ,,,enjoy your rangie camo and cheers MOZZ
