or just get up a ladder, and scrape the gutters clean once a year.

and stop whinging......

the talk of all these chemicals reminds me of when my bro in law had a "farm" smallholding in Tiptree,
had 1200 apple trees,
he had to spray `em with phosefate or something to be able to sell the apples at market.
never wore the full protection suit in the hot summers,

nearly killed him.

sold the smallholding for big ££££`s 30 years ago, never worked since..
vowed never to spray chemicals ever again though !!!

shame really, as I enjoyed using the MF vineyard tractor & twin rotorbladed skid grass cutter at weekends....

Get up on the roof using boards or ladders to spread your load. Power wash all the crap off. Let it dry (good luck on that) then spray it over with water seal. This soaks into the asbestos and stops the moss from forming.
I have done this on many roofs before n it works a treat n lasts many years too..

been up there again today, its going well.all the gutters are reffited and replaced as necessary, running well too.the roof has been cleaned before i think as there is some bitumin type paint under the moss so i will be able to scrape it off quite easily.

farmer boss has some treatment for it so will use that.;)

Moss is a plant, not a fungus!

yes moss is a plant however lichen is actually a fungus, usually of the class Ascomycetes, that grows symbiotically with algae, resulting in a composite organism that characteristically forms a crustlike or branching growth on rocks or tree trunks so he is partly right ish sort of lol...:D
