Anyone had probs with backdoor on 98 disco? Mine wont open, outside latch seems stuck in & it wont open from inside, ive had panel off and cant see anything adrift, any answers welcome

Simple things first, you've probably tried them but worth a shot...

Have you prised off the Land Rover logo on the outside above the lock and given it a spray of some penetrating oil?

soak it in wd40 and work the handle. do from inside, seeing as how you have the card off, and up the handle from the outside. if you take it to a garage thats all they'll do and will charge you for the priveledge.

LOL I dismantled my old Disco back door to get to the handle, couldn't find it. Did laugh when the local landy garage showed me it was behind the logo.
