Help daughters car has had new clutch centre and pressure and bearing and new master and slave.
The clutch still slips (was nackered prior to change). appears to happen when engine is cold. It seems fine with hot engine. I have run out of ideas.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I am frustrated with this problem.

Yes, dont use your first ever post for a question, should be used wisely in the Introduction Section where upon you introduce yourself, people then say hello and welcome to the forum, you then go to the appropriate section (Freelander in your case) and ask your question there for which inbetween being told you are gay and burn it there will be some serious answers that will guide you toward a happy conclusion to your problem, what you dont do is join, ask a question to get you out the crap never to be seen again

Take it back to where the work was done, have a hissy fit, throw the straighteners at them and stamp your feet

Thanks for advise re clutch thrust arm seized up.The arm does return but not far enough to fully release the clutch. Yes think you are right. I will try a little lub on pivot if no joy the gearbox will have to come out again.

As suggested Clutch Thrust Release Arm.... Managed to free it off with gentle
lub over 3 days and a good wiggle back and forth.(good grips and a bar)Take off the slave cylinder to give more wiggle room. Seems this was reason clutch was slipping. Pity workshop manuals dont mention checking this when the gearbox is out.
Thanks for pointers in this direction.
