just joined your merry gang as i have just become a proud owner of a freelander 1.8 petrol.
i am a recent convert to the landy(last time was in the 70's when i passed my test in an army air portable)
been a 4x4 er for a few years mainly terrano/maverick.not that i got this to off road mainly to tow the caravan.

but i am looking forward to getting to know you all over the coming few months

towing with a 1.8 petrol good luck with that..keep an eye on the temp guage at all times

My father had the TD4 and it towed loverly. More expensive but maybe not in the long run

i have a tow bar but haven't used it.


dunt think i'd want to tow a caravan anyway, i'm with clarkson on that subject
