I'm 99% sure what I see in the pics in post #1 of this thread is a 3 door S model with 15" alloys and a body-stying pack.

The clue is the 'S' under the side-repeater indicator.

The Sport model usually had bigger alloys and the Sport logo.

Sport is also an inch lower.

Yup - anyone could buy that at any time.

It was listed in the accesories catalogue.

The supplying dealer would have fitted it if ordered from new - or an owner just buy it from an LR parts dept.

I've never seen or heard of any Freelander with only 2 rear seats.

There should be the normal 60:40 split seat combination. (One seat on the left side and a double seat on the right.)

The body kit was a £724 accessory in 2004 - don't know about earlier than that.

There was also a matching spare wheel cover.

well iv only got 2 seats, i was told buy a trader that it only has 2 seats in the rear as it was a spot model
