I was going to drain and replace the oil/grease in my swivel housings as preventative maintenance, but I've found I don't have a drain plug in mine. I've searched the forum and gather that the only way to drain the old stuff is to strip everything down. I don't really want to do that if there's nothing wrong with them, so is there any way I can check the levels, or is it just a matter of waiting until something fails?

i thought they all had drain plugs????? im sure mine has an 11mm square bolt at bottom of swivel !!

Only if you have oil will you have a drain, level and fill plugs, later ones with grease don't.

if you have grease in there but dont how much is left as it does work its way out into diff , you can put some ep90 in upto level of steering arm when housing is fully in lock you may need something a a stick to get level somewhere near

My old RR had oil and one side leaked that's untill I put a few shots of grease from my grease gun in, and stoped it. IIRC just around 10 trigger pulls so not a lot.
