Guy on FB posted they were stuck on the M1 due to the snow, less than 1 hour North of us.

We have sweet f**k all snow today Far far less than we had yesterday

We had another 4 inch last night so we went sledging today :lol:

Yesterday morning we'd had about 4 - 5" snowfall, looked wonderful. By midday it'd reduced in size by about half and stayed that way. Last nights rain has washed it all away, except for the pile left by snowplough and on peoples drives .. This morning it's all wet, no snow at all and the sun is out with the outside temperature at 6 degrees and climbing!

Drying out nicely ..
