I'm currently running on 15" Maxxis 751 m/s tyres. Does anybody know much about these and could they be causing the droning noise I have over 40 kph?

sounds like helicopter could be a wheel bearing

It's like a humming that increases pitch with road speed from about 40 kph.

My hankook 15" A/T's are more noisier than my summer 17"
And They do Drone a bit

lol yeah only go on when im doing some off-roading, or snow, the noise is unreal but worth it for the extra grip

Do a search mate. It's been covered loads. There's a tread with a poll on, it will show you which is the most popular choice. Personally, I like my Pirelli scorpions.
