Here I go again popped another hg last weekend less than 500 miles after rebuild rad let go dumped the lot no indication of overheating till heater stopped blowing hot still at least all the bolts are corrosion free

Why did the rad let go big hole ??? Is it pressurising .

My own fault when it all went a few months ago it blew top hose off because of crack in liner all fixed and was running like a dream but bumpy here didn't change the rad it must have been weakened and let go should have replaced it think it has gone same place must be hotspot will let all know what I find when I take it off

It's probably my fault. I followed your previous posts and had just concluded it really was fixed. The beast must be telepathic.

Nah it was my own meanness not buying a new radiator it will be fine though having pulled the whole thing out last time only doing the heads is easy peasy sort of looking forward to it as it drove fabulous and was so smooth after the rebuild
