If/when I replace my front steering swivels will it be okay to just replace the new shims with the same number of old shims or will I need to use a guage to test the resistance? Its a Ser3 swb.

Different swivel so will need different shimming.....course you might go through the process to find it needs the same amount but tis the only way to find out.
