I have swapped the car parking space for my Rangie with the wifes audi to keep waaaaayyyyyyy back from the BT manhole cover that is suspect in draining the battery and giving whole host of problems to the rangie......problem is.....after parking the audi in that spot I couldn't get the central locking to open ???????...Spooky!

Thank goodness after sticking the key in the lock the old fashioned way it still started off the key - happy days.:D

Moral of the story is...Dont buy an audi either just keep back from BT!

You should report the problem to BT, there are strict laws about secondary RF emissions though I struggle to imagine what could be in a manhole that is causing RF interferance. More likely a neighbour with WiFi a smart electricity meter or wireless doorbell.
