Hi,

I am not happy with the ride/handling on my P38 DHSE compared to my last one.

So far I have changed, Wheels, Tyres, Air Springs, Shock, Steering Damper & Drag Link.

I have also tired 16inch Rims and Tryes.

Basically the ride is quite hard and the back seems to wander over bumps/holes.

So, I was thinking maybe all the bushes need changing? Has anyone done this and which would you recommend? I don't offroad as a habbit so dont need anything special.

I have found Britpart Bush Kit (Black) P38 DC7107 Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order. these any good?

Thanks in Advance...

Rebushing does make a difference as over time the rubber wears and hardens with age.
Steer clear of the Polybush route as they make the ride more harsh in my experience.

I wouldn't use anything from Brit part. Try dropping the rear tyre pressures to 28psi when running unloaded.

Hmmm..... so not poly and not britpart....i'll keep looking.

Data, I have tired all different psi and combos, changes abit, running 38 front and 32 rear at the moment I think.

Should be 28psi front and 38 rear, but mine is better with 28psi all round, they are very sensitive to tyres and tyre pressures.

I run 28 front and 30 rear unless I carry any weight in the back, but I don't mess with fat tarts very often......getting too old !!

Mine has polybush and 18 in with 28 front and 30 rear rides like a dream and I have tried all the combinations over the years
