Ok, so bit of a misleading title to grab your attention.

Wheres the best place in a Disco 2 to fit some 6x9's ?

I have a decent set of 6x9's and some speaker wire, My rear speakers are cabbaged and my fronts are taking the brunt.

I dont want to buy little round ones for the doors, I just want to fit these 6x9's but having a bit of a dillema on where to fit them.

Is the oe place wide enough, cut some spacers out of mdf and fit them there.

I havent checked the OE speaker spaces yet, Sounds a good idea.


Was thinking of ripping off the rear door panel and bolting them onto there somehow, I think the fact that someones already ripped off the back door speaker and tray is causing my rears not to work.. ?

They were done about three years ago so I can't remember the fine detail but I seem to remember "persuading" the inner panel to move!

No worries. There was a thread a few weeks ago which used deeper speakers so spacers were needed. Check first.
