Hi,

When I put down the accelerator I get what sounds like a fizzing noise or the noise that sounds like rice hitting a bowl.

I'm pretty sure the VCU has had it, so I'm taking that off this evening until I can get another but does it sound like the bearings or somrthing else.

It happens when I get to 1750rpm. It hs 153Km on it and I only bought it in May. I dont think the VCU had ever been changed on it.

Any advice appreciated.

I would say it your vcu carrier bearings

I have the same thing, happens when the engine starts to labour in the lower gears so I change up a gear. My VCU is due for a change too so I'll do the carroer bearings at the same time.

Thats not so bad, I'll do the bearings while I'm at the VCU. Only worried it was something more serious.
