Hi folks
Trying to fit a snorkle to a 300TDI, but the snorkel I have, although supposedly for a 300TDI, seems to be a 200 one with tons of convoluted pipework and an airbox that seems to be hacked about.
Does anyone know how to fit one?
I will try and post pics later.

Done a couple in my time

You take the trumpet thing out he air box and blank it off, new plastic pipe bolts on the engine side of the box and you have to cut hole in it. That pipe then goes round the back of the box to the inner wing where it joins to the snorkel with the short rubber pipe!

There's four bits!
Snorkel
Joining piece
Tortuously bent pipe
Air box blank
Plus fittings

I've done one without the template. You have to be bloody careful!

That's very different to the non abs one

My old commercial. Did this one with no template. No under bonnet shot tho. It was a non abs one. Does the abs snorkel poke thru the wing further forward? ie are the templates different?

mite be interested in that - it apears my "kit" is missing the blanking plate, the adapter plate and the hose .
