Ok so I have developed a really annoying squeaking noise from the rear off side. When I jump up and down the noise is there and also when moving at low ish speeds. It doest coincide with moving over speed bumps though which is strange. Anyone any ideas what could be the culprit ? TIA

I have heard reports of needing to take the cap off the top of the strut under the bonnet and a few deft squirts on the mount....

It's the rear mate. It did stop but now it's back. I have been under the car armed with WD used a can and it's still there. I will find it.. Sounds like the strut but it's hard to get too. Cant take wheel off to do it as then I cant bounce it to find where the squeak is coming from...

Instead of WD, try a silicone grease aerosol

Spray every joint that moves, simples

Did you use either an antisqueal paste or cooper grease when you fitted them?
