With vehicles that badly damaged the system is simple. They gat back loaded to a larger maintenance facility Known as B shops where it will be fitted with a recon engine and returned to originating unit or back into pool fleet, SimplesIt looks like he's been scared off
Question is, was it Fanny or 110 Woman who scared him?
Second question is, if he was scared off, what happened to the British Army's fighting spirit?? Did HM Govt pawn that as well?

check valves cam shaft exaust baffles and pistons and piston rings sounds to me as if its a problem in the top end
