I have just received an email from The Green Oval Garage which shows me 348 email addresses in their customer database email list.

Anyone else get this email from Brian Hoult?

Also, for the second time in a row Paddocks have sent me an order with parts misssing, not anything major, but still tiresome when I was planning a job for the week-end.

So my question is, who would you recommend as good and reliable parts suppliers, preferrably who don't stock Britpart stuff or at least give alternatives to Britpart?

Ive been using brookwell in plymouth/Portsmouth/devon?

Good delivery times and not too expensive. If i need something that day then its craddocks for me as its up the road.

Sucks when the fudge up an order!

Thanks Big Yin, I'll have a looksee at their site. I can get stuff wholesale from Dingbro (a Scottish company) but they don't have any online catalogue I can search, but there is the advantage that they will deliver to my work free of charge as work has an account, and, they don't deal with Britpart either!

LRDirect every time for me

Usually have 2 or 3 brands, decent postage, quick, not let me down yet and the one item where they're supplier messed about they upgraded to LR Genuine for free.

Have used most of the known names at some time, an now loyal to Paul and the team at LRDIRECT - oh, they answer the phone as well

Looks like it will be LRDirect from now as I found their site to be easily navigated and well laid out, plus a couple of good recommendations.

also you spec what brand you want so no britpart no problem!

I got same Email

I sometimes use them.

Very helpful guys, but they don't currently, have much stock of spares, so need to special order most older stuff series etc.

Good quick service with their suppliers though.
