I have a 1991 defender 90 station wagon. Does it legally have to have seat belts for the rear inward facing seats?

Try a search on this, bound to be covered. But I don't believe you do have to have them legally.

I have 2001 TD5 110 station wagon with inward facing rear seats. According to MOT man, seat belts in the rear were not part of the test. Just as well in my case! They are not a pretty sight.

As said do a search topic has been covered every time some numpty bought a 90/110 csw, joined the forum and was to lazy to do a search.

Oh and the answer is no sidefacing seats don't have to have seatbelts, and before you ASK yes you can carry children on them NO you can't use the seatbelts or anyother restraints to secure your children in side facing seats.
