Hello all,

Purchased my first Defender this week after always wanting one.

Absolutely love it. Bit of a crazy purchase but so happy to have it.

Have installed a new Sony head unit in it today as I was fed up of the CD player skipping continuously, so I can now use my iPod. Fortunately it changes colour to green so matches the other buttons!

Will definitely be posting for advice / ideas from you all shortly!

It'll all end up brown when the gearstick lever gaiter splits and mud covers the inside too !

Or is that just mine that does that.

Well the dealer had just finished the valet before collecting, not looking as shiny now after some sneaky farmer field treks. Not that far away from me if you're in Coventry. Any good places to recommend going?
