hi, my gearbox(r380) is crunching badly when changing up into 2nd and 3rd,i have a good defender r380 box i'm wondering if there is any differance between the two thanks

the gearleavers are in the wrong place . and cannot be interchanged . they can be swapped the other way around though (disco box into a defender ) but it requires some machine work and time .

you could trade someone your defender box for a good disco one .

if youve got both boxes you can strip and change selector shaft as this and yoke that fits it so disco gear change will fit is only difference,defender box is worth more than disco as much rarer
