Hi folks
Thinking of buying, a discovery its 93, v8, gas converted.Problem is the bloke said the oil cooler blew and killed gearbox(manual.)Hes replaced it with diesel gearbox...He said its a bit hard to get in gear when first started but ok once its warm,he used hypoid 100 not 8o oil,could this be the problem..Or does a v8 just not like the diesel gearbox?....

If its a R380 gearbox (reverse gear to the right then back), try MTF 94 Transmission oil (Landrover)
