whats your opinion on the hardest job to complete on a landrover ? whether its skill wise or just a pain in the ass job ?
mines probably removing the steering drop arm, tried on 2 different 90's and was impossible, pullers heat hammer none worked

So far it's rebuilding the gearbox. Every step has been problematic. Now at 1 month and counting.

most jobs on a landy turn into a nightmare :D you think to yourself,it will only take me 10 mins,3 hours later your still at it!

That's an easy job :(. Normally 3 hours later, I am still not ready to start the job I intended. Usually only half way thru the 8 other jobs I am required to do before starting the one I intended

Convincing ya fellow Landy owners That ya gaylander is good offroad.. :D Or even just Good Fullstop.....

driver door latch on a 2door rrc or removing all the rust and making sure none comes back :p

seat belt mounts tie bars done mine today after bodylifting, what a pain in the arse, but then most things are when your lying on your driveway.lol

Tbh boys not really had to do a really difficult job, that's why I love land rovers.

I agree though if I had to choose, drop arm is a real tough cookie.

One never came off, even after a big man and a big press had a go.

My last means though came off on its own :D (tbh if you want to loosen it, undo nut and drive a bumpy lane!)

Cheers

its more the fact you have to do them late at night in the road in the dark in the winter in a rush thats the main issue for most of us  :p

driving the series 3 straight on road, not curving or correcting all the time. and changing seal on transferbox main shaft. no i mean the gearbox also.

getting the bonded windscreen out of a disco 2 without cracking it !!!
