Hi all we are new on here and need help please. We bought a P38 2 years ago and have had no trouble untill now.

We have a 30th Anniversary edition (2001 Y).

The sound started playing up a few months ago and now we have no sound at all. After plenty of searching we changed the amp and still no sound. We then put in a new radio (range rover one same model etc) but still no sound.

We know that the radio and sat nav are linked.

We are now at a total loss as what to do or where to head. Can anyone help or advise us?

way over my head, do you know the head unit is putting out sound,do you know the amp is giving out sound, has to be a loose connection somewhere. process of elimination, or bite the bullet and call out a an auto electrician.

Really daft but have you checked the amp fuses and all the earths, especially in the boot. It may be an idea to find a friend nearby and try checking know working components, but it does sound like vehicle rather than head/amp
