OK on Thursday we picked up our new (to us) Discovery 2 and I have a couple of things that need sorting.
1: There's no jack. Do I just get a replacement and put it in the spact with the battery where it should be or get something else? I wont be doing loads of off roading so a farm jack won't be needed.
2: The drivers door leaks at the top and the door card gets a soaking, also the bad fit causes wind noise. The seal looks ok. Is there an easy fix for this?
3: The back passanger doors don't open on the central locking, I know how to sort this but can anyone reccomend somewhere for the parts
(cheap)?
4: The rear susspention surprisingly works ok but the front doesnt look right. It seems to be sitting about 2" lower on the drivers side (and thats without the fat driver behind the wheel. Anyone any idea why this is.
5: I need tyres all round. most of the driving will be on the road and would like something quiet (ish) with the occasional venture into a muddy field or camp site, again no real off roading so nothing too agressive but something with good road manners that will last a while and not cost the earth.
I'm sure we'll find other things as we go along and I can see me dredging these pages for info and advice quite a bit in the months to come.
Thanks.
