90 200 tdi seems VERY sluggish when travelling up hill [road] im having to drop gears to make it to top but then fine on the straight any help lads?

1)is it red?
2)check intercooler pipes
3)check turbo for wear
4)check turbo hoses
5)check actuator
6)check throttle linkage
7)check air filter
then come back and let us know what u find

remove hoses and check blades and centre spindle for wear/movement

when was the fuel filter change?
Worth checking the fuel lift pump (take outlet house off and turn it over or manually pump it, to check fuel is coming out), I've replaced one on every landy I've owned!

I had this problem and cured it by moving the floor mat which had slid across the floor slightly and obstructed the accelerator pedal

and I thought it was just me - shortly after getting mine I realised I could only push the accelerator 2/3 the way down - floor mat was the culprit

Can I just say Q 2 and 4 are the same question

and I thought it was just me - shortly after getting mine I realised I could only push the accelerator 2/3 the way down - floor mat was the culprit

But did you manage to fix it on your own? ... I did

changed fuel filterand so much better also found intercooler hose a bit loose so thanks again lads now i wonder what will go wrong next?
