I'm doing a bit of welding on my 300tdi and the last KNOB who had it put fiberglass all over it instead of cutting it out and weld in new , it takes twice as long and fu##s me off

Yes but so much more intimate, up close and personal, if you know what I mean. It's nice to have that hands on approach in these circumstances don't you feel?

You don’t see that kind of dedication and craftsmanship much anymore, you should be commended.

My disco had patches of fibreglass all over the boot floor but now has patches of steel on the boot floor and just about everywhere else.
