Hi all, had my '98' 2wd di freelander for a couple of weeks now and i like the sound of "i've got a land rover". Fixed the lecy window with a bag of wires off ebay and going to give it a service and fix the exhaust then its bring on the snow. I've allready learnt a lot off the forum so thanks for that, just saving up the pennies so i can make it 4wd again although 36 mpg isnt bad so maybe i'll just save up for a td4.

Hmmm, any one who owns a Freelander, and goes around telling people they have a Land Rover, deserves all the abuse they get, and believe me, if you stray out out of the freelander section, you will get a lot of it.

We've all got to start somewere and seeing as i don't do the school run anymore i don't need a disco, i'm not a banker so i can't afford a range rover but one day i may feel worthy enough to own some origami alloy wrapped round some rusty metal , but i shall heed your advice and only sneak round the defender section at night when no-ones looking.
