My L322 2003 has decided to give me morevproblems. The extender on the steering column has stopped working. It has stuck in the 'IN' position.

It tilts up and down just fine, when you try to extend it....nothing, no whirring or anything.

Any help would be appreciated,

It does make like a click as if the motor is trying to move but it's stuck.

common problem - usually something has just slipped off the motor gears - not quite sure but usually is an easy fix

Success!!!! I jiggled with the controller and eventually it released itself!!!! It was stuck, that's all.
The moral of the story? Don't let your 4 yr old play with the controls....

Get longer arms. Move seat nearer to steering wheel. Simples.
