Your not offering help tho. You have joined the forum for one purpose so far to try and make money for something that folk could buy and do themselves for less than you're charging.

There are loads of helpful people on here and if you had a look around you would have found that. If you're here to help and have a bit banter then :welcome2: but so far all you have done is add spam to the forum.

Clearing the faults is indeed very easy. But did you then take the Rangie for a quick run and put the EAS in all heights and then see whether any faults recurred?

For your £30/hr (it's worth repeating that's more than the price of a cable and the [free] software) can you interprete what the faults actually mean? Not what they say they are - that bit is painfully obvious - but what they actually might mean after reading them, checking out the symptoms the owner's reported and checking the EAS hardware (airbags, airlines, height sensors, valve-block and compresser etc)...

If so then you're offering a valuable service to local P38 owners as the EAS can be troublesome if neglected and although the system is actually pretty easy to understand, there are a lot of variables once age and wear and tear enter the equation. If so you might be better off posting in the Range Rover forum; if not then you're just plugging a computer in and not doing anything particularly helpful for the money...

Not having a pop; just trying to steer you in the right direction if you are earnest and have the right level of EAS understanding; or to caution that things are not as simple as a quick reset (that is true of electrickery on any car) if you were thinking it usually is this simple...

Cheers,

Malcolm

BTW - what's a "4.6 HSE Sport"?

The Range Rover Sport is a rebodied Disco 3/Disco 4; the 4.6 HSE is a P38...entirely different vehicles :)

most people on here would reset others eas locally for the price of a cup of tea and a few hobnobs, as malcolm states above resetting is one thing but fixing is another, id be pretty ticked off to pay £30 for me to drive down the road and the fault come back almost straight away!
