I say good on 'em and the best of luck, there designed by Land Rover, built by Land Rover and most importantly sold by Land Rover.
I live not far from Gaydon and there a massive employer round here and also do a lot for the local community.
Just because one person doesn't like the look of a car does not mean it's ****.

And you base this on looks only as nobody other than landrover have seen it at work yet. Yip it dose look awful though but untill we see it at work or what it is like compared to a defender we can not comment much to it.

Silly things like those wheels will never make it onto the final vehicle, they're just there to attract attention to the concept. In all likelyhood the real thing will have steel wheels, at least the base model will anyway.

The basic shape of the vehicle looks fine to me -- I don't see what the fuss is about?

Whilst I dont like new cars,I have to say that after going for a good thrash in one yesterday - its actuallly a really nice little car to drive.I hate to think how complex the electronics are tho......

It's still got 4 years 'design journey' ahead of it, but there's no need to worry. Land Rover will remember what Defenders are used for, after the massive wave of negative feedback on the design.

Also, in your post, you state that Discos aren't true Land Rovers, yet they are extremely capable off-road?
